Every few weeks a running brand releases a new version of a shoe you already know — and when it does, last year’s version often gets cheaper.
This page tracks the running shoes landing from October 2026 to the end of January 2027: what each one is, what has actually changed, and what it means for the pair you would buy today. We’ll update it every month.
Two things worth knowing before you start. Not every update is a big one — some bring a new foam and plate, others change little more than the upper — so the outgoing model can still be the smarter buy. And most release dates are US or global dates: when we checked the UAE websites we could read on 15 October, only a handful of these shoes were there.

How to read this page

A new foam for an old favourite.
The Speed 5 was RunRepeat’s pick for energy return, as we noted in our HYROX shoe grades. The Speed 6 changes both the foam and the plate, so those results don’t carry over.

Built from the ground up for HYROX, PUMA says.
PUMA’s product page calls it the first shoe designed from the ground up specifically for HYROX racing, and files it under training. Its existing HYROX racer, the Deviate Nitro Elite 4, is still on sale.

At US$350 it’s the most expensive shoe on this page apart from Mizuno’s limited Hyperwarp 96 and adidas’s trail racer. Also due in January: Mizuno’s Hyperwarp range in the US. And in early 2027, On’s Cloudsurfer 3 goes on full sale.

Worth knowing
- Altra’s Paradigm has been renamed the Torin ST, which launched in July — so there won’t be a “Paradigm 9” under that name.
- Mizuno’s Sky Prime doesn’t replace the Wave Sky 9; Mizuno sells both.
- Brooks’s next Adrenaline is the GTS 26, not the GTS 27.

We leave rumours out.
Dates are US or global unless we say otherwise. Prices are the brands’ list prices unless we say a price is a sale or retailer price. For the UAE, we checked the brands’ UAE websites and the UAE shops we could read online on 15 October. Some large retailers’ websites can’t be checked that way, so a shoe may already be in a shop we couldn’t see.
