A children's running shoe is usually outgrown well before it's worn out, so a pre-owned pair can have plenty of life left — if you know what to look for. The part that matters is the foam under the foot: it cushions by trapping air, and it packs down with use long before the upper looks tired. Every running shoe on KISH is checked for condition before it lists, so you're judging a pair on its real state, not a clean-looking photo.
Judge the foam, not the photo
When a pair has had a previous life, condition beats looks. Our guide to telling when a running shoe is done shows the thirty-second checks — the press test, the midsole creases, the outsole wear — that separate a great-value pair from a false economy. Dubai's heat and sun also age foam faster, which is worth knowing when you buy and when you store them.
Size and fit first
Kids' feet grow in bursts, so check the fit before anything else — our guide to measuring your child's feet at home takes a couple of minutes. Every KISH listing shows the UK size and a clear condition grade, and is protected by buyer protection if it arrives different from how it was described.
Common questions
How do I know a used running shoe still has life left?
Judge the foam, not the look. Press the midsole — fresh foam springs back, dead foam stays flat — and check the outsole for bald patches. Our 'when running shoes are done' guide has the full thirty-second check. Every KISH pair is also condition-graded before listing.
Are the shoes checked before they're listed?
Yes. KISH reviews each seller's photos and stated condition against a grade (New with tags, Excellent, Good, Fair) before the listing goes live — nothing lists unreviewed.
What sizes do you stock?
From infant and junior up to youth and adult sizes, including the larger sizes older kids and teens wear. Each listing shows the UK size; measure your child's feet first to be sure.
What if the shoes aren't as described?
Every order is covered by KISH buyer protection. If a pair arrives materially different from its listing, you're protected — raise it within the protection window and we'll review it against the approved photos.
