New and pre-owned kids' running spikes in Dubai

Track and athletics spikes for young runners, new and preloved. Every listing is checked by a person before it goes live, and every order has KISH buyer protection.

Junior spikes are hard to find in Dubai, and children often outgrow a pair before they wear it out, so a used pair can be good value if the plate, pins and threads check out. On KISH, preloved spikes sit alongside new pairs with tags, and the condition grade on each listing tells you which is which. Every listing is checked by a person before it goes live.

Does your child need spikes?

Under about 11, rarely: a good pair of trainers is fine for sports day, club training and races, and in some competitions the rules say trainers anyway. From around 11 to 13, for a child racing regularly on a track with a coach, start with an all-round or distance spike that has some heel, not a sprint spike. Ask the coach or school before you buy, because rules on spikes and pin length vary by track and by competition. Our guide, do running spikes make you faster?, sets out the evidence.

What to check on a used pair

Make sure a pin screws in firmly at every socket, because new pins can't fix a stripped thread. Check that no pin has rusted in, and that the plate and upper are sound. If a listing doesn't show them clearly, ask the seller for a clear photo of the plate and pins.

Getting the fit right

Spikes should fit snugly, at least as close as your child's trainers and never roomier, with no heel lift and toes lying flat. Don't buy a size up to grow into: a foot that slides loses grip and rubs. Measure their feet first, and buy on the EU size shown on each listing. Every order is covered by KISH buyer protection.

Selling outgrown spikes

If your child has moved up a size, listing a pair is free and sellers keep 100% of the item price.
